I agree that if a game is an update, then it cannot be a part of the nomination.
However, Tiny Wings HD is a new released game.
This kind of thing has happened before, like with Kingdom Rush, DodonPachi Ressurection HD, and others.
I believe that if a game is newly released during that week, it can be nominated.
So, Tiny Wings is definitely not in nomination, but the HD version is.

My vote goes to knights of the round cable, it's a great game although the upgrades and especially the different knights are WAY too expensive! The first 3 knights cost 200-400 and the next ones 5000+.. I don't know if this is a mistake by chillingo, maybe they should cost 500+ this seems to make more sense to me

Personally, I believe that if Tiny Wings 2.0 had been released as seperate app, it would have been ripped apart because it simply lacks innovation and new stuff to be worth of a standalone app. Therefore, the move of the dev to release this as an update while simultaneously releasing an iPad version was a very smart move.

Anyways, Tiny Wings 2.0 is just an update. If the weakly poll is only about new releases and never includes updated games, Tiny Wings 2.0 should not be up there.

Agreed. It's fairly obvious why Tiny Wings should not have been included.
