...than a clunky, yet complex/diverse one. Which is why I'd take Minigore over other dual-stick shooters any day, and why I spent countless hours playing Infinity Blade over and over. I wish more games went for quality rather than quantity.
I second that. For duel-stickers, have you tried Max Adventures yet? By far the most polished and beautiful looking one to date. And a blast to boot.
I'd rather play an expansive, varied game that's a bit rough around the edges (such as Aralon) than some super polished yet repetitive and boring game (such as Infinity Blade).
its hard to say if hes trolling are not. usually people who deal in weird absolutes are trolling but this guy seems somewhat serious.
LOL - then he's the worst Michael Scott imposter I've ever seen! ... wait a sec... that would mean that he might be Michael Scott himself.
+1, I beat the godking before the two hour mark..and that was that. Freed up a few hundred MB, good stuff. Aralon is the shit.
"bit rough around the edges" is a very polite way of telling it. Aralon is nowhere near the level of polish we came to expect from top-level games. To stay on-topic: well, I wish more games would go for quality AND quantity
If you were expecting lots of polish, then of course the game didn't meet your expectations. Personally I wasn't expecting the game to be as polished as other games such as Infinity Blade, Real Racing 2, NOVA 2 etc. But the fundamental gameplay works fine and that's all that really matters to me. Sure, the menus lack polish and there are a few bugs and glitches, but the game doesn't have any major flaws. I think describing the game as "a bit rough around the edges" is appropriate.
And I'd rather not. Different strokes for different folks. casual .99c mini-games, not happening for me. Cut the Rope, Angry Birds, Fruit Ninja, not interested. I want games on a grand scale. Of course I'd rather they be polished than not, but I want to play console-like games on my iDevice.
