iPhone 3.0 Beta 3 is OUT!

We at the blog should have it in our hands soon. Early reports from people are that is just got much better

 

I am downloading it now. I'm considering trying it, but I'm mostly just collecting 3.0 beta firmwares.

- MMS works with modified carrier bundle on German T-Mobile network.
- Spotlight now saves the last search.
- Speed improvements.
- Option for iPods that let you change what your double tap home button is.
- You can change spotlight to search for what you want to search for ex everything but applications.
- iPod icon is aligned.
- Restrictions now add In-App Purchases and Location.

 

Just got it. Much smoother on the older devices. Expect a full "review" of it in a bit.

Tethering: allows my laptop to use my phones internet as a access point.

 

how can you use it that way?

 

How many versions do they plan on releasing? I know there ha to be at least 4

 

It's April. They are releasing/officially announcing it in full in June. Possibly a full release in July. I'd say 8-10.

 

It worked in other versions too. Gizmodo posted how to do it as well.
