So what game does utilize the full capability of the 3gs? I've been off for months now since my 3g broked but I got a 3gs in return. I heard that it could handle normal/bump maps and stuff, but what game(s) do actually make use of this feature and more?
There is a helicopter game i dont remember the name of now. Its uterly boring and not very beutiful at all but its been markeded for the 3gs. And of course enviro bear as already mentioned.
Blue Skies is the helicopter game. Does get a bit repetative. Is enviro bear actually good graphcs? From screens it looks like it was made in MS paint. Or is it just sarcasitc?

Some of them have actually great graphics... - Angry Birds - CoD Zombies (maybe - multiplayer is awesome though) - EDGE - Jet Car Stunts - Labyrinth 2 - Plants vs. Zombies - Ragdoll Blaster 2 - Ramp Champ (mind-blowing graphics) - Command & Conquer: Red Alert - Rock Band (if you're into rock/guitar-ish stuff) - Rolando 2 - Space Miner (get this for sure) There are definitely some games from that list you're gonna like. I have them all and I will NEVER delete those from my iPhone (unless a sequel gets released that is).
while the games you mentioned are all awesome games which i would recommend (mainly), they dont all fully utuilize the hardware capabilities, which was the aim of this thread. angry birds for example could probably be played on a 1st gen without lag, so it's not really stretching the device's capabilites. but off topic, SPACE MINER FTW
I would recommend Avatar, Dungeon Hunter and Speed Forge Extreme which use blur effect. But Space Miner is great recommendation, definately
yea kinda sucks thats theres really no 3gs specific games... before the 3gs even came out all these developers were saying how all there games were going to have extra bells and whistles for 3gs owners... but heres some games that run better now in comparison to my 3g. Guys Adrenaline Golf is the only game with real SHADERS from the 3GS and shiny reflective animated water that looks very realistic. THE GRAPHICS ARE AMAZING even though the game itself isn't very good.
best graphics i have seen ? street fighter iv is pretty impressive.... ancient frog looks amazing graphically space miner is fantastic galaxy on fire 3d theres tons of awsome graphic games...
