What about the phases, do you have to buy them? Is there a bunch of grinding in this game? Sorry for the many questions but I know I can trust you on games. None of the IAP are required, because they are cheats that get you endgame stuff very early, making them more as cheats than anything. I have almost completed all challenges, and i have not spent IAPs on this one. vii-Lucky Well-Known Member Jul 28, 2013 1,611 0 0 #7 vii-Lucky, Apr 19, 2014 Mario kart like? VaroFN Well-Known Member Sep 28, 2011 4,270 0 36 #8 VaroFN, Apr 19, 2014 It's more like F-Zero. For Mario Kart-like games you have Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing and Transformed and Mole Kart (blatant rip-off, but it's kinda ok). Tiki Kart and Crash Bandicoot Nitro Kart 2 are also like Mario Kart, but I didn't play those. scrotally Well-Known Member Apr 21, 2013 305 0 0 #9 scrotally, Apr 19, 2014 Mmmmmmm.....F-Zero. The original on SNES is still one of my favorite games of all time. It was so ahead of its time. september Well-Known Member Sep 14, 2012 2,673 0 0 #10 september, Apr 19, 2014 Probably the closest iOS has come to getting a decent futuristic racer, it's not wipeout but it doesn't try to be and has some original ideas of its own which keep things interesting. A lot of people seemed ready to hate on this before trying it on release, they soon changed their tune once they'd played it though. nkarafo Well-Known Member Mar 2, 2011 860 9 18 #11 nkarafo, Apr 19, 2014 Last edited: Apr 19, 2014 I saw here a video with A.I. opponent. It seems very very good! It has nice soundtrack by the way, I will search for it.. Thanks guys, already bought the game. I didn't even know for it ! Coldar Well-Known Member Dec 26, 2008 2,458 5 38 Upstate NY/USA #12 Coldar, Apr 19, 2014 Went to buy but seen I'd purchased it earlier and can't believe I'd overlooked this. I've tried lots of this genre of game on iOS and many were like flying an uncontrollable rocket between walls. But Repulze plays very well for what I've tried and really enjoying it..... along with some regret for not trying it sooner. Thanks for posting Cyg as it helped me surface a terrific game. It's a very precious information in our IAP-soaked times. And it's interesting that more and more AAA games seem to be going an acceptable IAP way like this one. But they are pretty hard to find. scrotally Well-Known Member Apr 21, 2013 305 0 0 #15 scrotally, Apr 20, 2014 Preferred control scheme? I think I prefer tilt but it's ...touchy.
