It might be hurtful for those who bought it few days ago, but then it is still very nice of the developer to offer the game to us for free. So it's been out 2 & 1/2 weeks. But really the sales happen within the first 3 weeks of launch these days. So anything less than 3 weeks is VERY common now. I think many devs pre-plan it this way. Not necessarily to go free (unless the game is freemium in disguise) but to launch at one price and have a sale a week later as part of the marketing plan. ismyhc Well-Known Member Sep 26, 2013 86 0 0 Raleigh, NC http://retroplay.games #14 ismyhc, Oct 18, 2013 Just a little insight from me as the developer of Galaxoid. This is my first release, and Im just trying to gain some exposure for the game. I got a great review from TA last Friday and while that did boost sales for a short period of time, it had slowed back down to almost nothing again. I can assure you the game isn't freemium and will never go freemium. Im a lone developer just trying to become successful Im listening to feedback in the forums and doing my best to make the game as fun as possible! Also I appreciate everyone who purchased the game before the free promotion! Just looking for some exposure and people to enjoy Galaxoid! paulkane Well-Known Member Sep 6, 2012 1,102 0 36 Library automaton Denver #19 paulkane, Oct 19, 2013 Love Galaxoid! It's such an awesome blend of space invaders with Galaga and a few special touches, like the boss levels and interactive power ups. I rocked it with headphones for a couple of hours this morning and really enjoyed it. I did have a crash just as I was about to finish off the second Boss, but this has only happened once so far. Will be leaving a review ASAP and spreading the word. ismyhc Well-Known Member Sep 26, 2013 86 0 0 Raleigh, NC http://retroplay.games #20 ismyhc, Oct 19, 2013 That's really awesome! I'm glad you are enjoying the game. Could you send me a quick PM when you get a chance with just a few details about the crash? Device, OS version, did the crash happen as you were killed or just out of the blue? I'm just trying to figure were the problem may be. Thanks! (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
