I restarted my iPad and didn't notice any of these symptoms in my last playthrough (1CC). High chance it was temporary glitching out. :)

if you dont know what exactly make some items in the game and you ignore it, than who cares what is the discussion about.

Seems a lot easier than DFK/Resurrection. :) You only need to do one of those, not all.

The kicker is in the forced difficulty.

Man, that sucks. However, it might be a bit less difficult than the DFK requirements. We'll see it soon.

You can't let it go, can you? Again, my original point was that you don't need IAPs in DS to enjoy the game. Do we really have any argument about this?

In a couple of hours we all play the game and forget about these things, eh?

For christ sake, how many pages of arguments about another game are you guys gonna dump in this thread. Go argue in the Deathsmiles thread.

lol, your original post was about highscoring and quoting my post about it. the enjoyment point of smartphone (which i would agree has much more content than usual cave titles) and arcade mode is a matter of personal preferences and does not have anything f to do with what i was writing. sorry for offtopic everyone, back to this game.

that is really great, however lets see what is with the difficulty because ddp seems to be more easy than this game.

why do most of the cave shooters only use 2/3 of the screen?

You can change the screen size. There's small, medium (default), and large.

Oh that settles it then, I shall hold my purchase on the iOS, I prefer shmups on the PC screen.

bought the game and it is great, quite similar to ddp on arcades. menus and ui are good, loading times too. the scoring system is quite simple but it is fun. so it plays good and controls work great too. another quality release from cave for ios.

I agree. I have nothing to add, I just agree.

It's because of the resolution of the original arcade version. You can force it to play fullscreen, but that will cause the sprites to be stretched by a fraction instead of a whole number, and will result in a blurrier image.

On a related note, I wish this was universal, at least so that when playing on an iPad the unused area still conveys touch controls.

Got it to play on my wife's iPad, but just for fun attempted to install it on my Touch (64gb 3rd gen). Yes I know 3rd Gen is not supported, but tried anyways. It gave me the error:
