Default Appshopper ipad support

I know this might not be the place for this question but i know that toucharcade and appshopper are basically the brother sites, what happened to the update for ipad support? its been months.

I don't think it's going to happen. Apple isn't allowing app-recommendation apps in the app store, so the chance of it getting approved is pretty much zero.

TouchArcade app's future is also a little uncertain.

It sounds like a webapp is the way to go. Apple have no control over that.

It's a real shame though. Appshopper (the original one) is an excellent app that I use on a daily basis. Apple's reasons for banning it were weak at best.

It is sad to hear that. I always thought the Appshopper "social" workaround did work but I guess not. I'll still use the app the way it is now on my iPad.

I wish at least Apple has an app/system similar to Appshopper to notify us about discounts. Then, I might understand their approach to the other apps.

Anyways thanks for the answer.
