I am looking for a real-time simulation/management-ish iPhone game (such as Hay Day or Dragonvale) that doesn't have gameplay-limiting IAP and doesn't want for me to link my Facebook or at least won't limit me at all for not doing so. I don't care what the setting or theme is as long as it's a quality game with a good amount of content that I can really sink some time into. Price is also not an issue, though I'm talking initial purchase price; I have no interest in games with purchasable currency such as diamonds, gems, or anything of that nature. If anybody knows of any games that fit the criteria above, I'd love to know what they are. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Is a game that fits this description really that obscure? There has to be something... I can't imagine that every game in the genre is freemium and Facebook-dependent.
This. I've never played any of their games, but all of them have gotten positive feedback from what I've heard. So that pretty much sums it up.
You're saying they're not cash grabs? Releasing what is essentially the same game over and over, porting to iOS with no real attempt to change the game to suit the platform? I realise I'm reading a lot into a few dots here.
I agree that it sucks that Kairosoft games represent that vast majority of worthy sims to play. But the Kairosoft games I've played have been a lot of fun. If they sucked, than that's one thing. edit If they don't add to their formula, than they will suffer. It's whateve though, I don't care enough to stick up for Kairosoft.
Townsmen (premium version) is a very solid, no timer BS, real time village econ building sim I lost a lot of hours to. Now, in the interest of full disclosure, it has very, very optional freemium-esque elements in that you can buy prestige to purchase stuff in the game without actually producing it, but if you're doing that, you're simming wrong
