I'm glad for you guys at Trueaxis and thank you for your active participation in this forum, and prompt answers to questions we have had for you.

Also, this runs AMAZINGLY on my ipod touch 1g. Perfectly smooth. This game is going to be (and already is) a ton of fun.

Woah. Wasn't sure about this one but 25 levels? I'll cave for it. Gah. I wish they would have used Plus+ though rather than OpenFeint. I've grown to love Plus+ and loath Feint.. oh well.

Is it really good? I only buy the best games due to my embarassing budget... please honest answers, is there a better racer for $1.99?

It's packed full of fun, worth it. Levels are hard too.

The appearance on the appstore snuck up on us, we where planning to delay the release a little so we could co-ordinate the anouncement with all the press and start this thread ourselves, but I guess, lucky for you you got the game a bit earlier.

Anyway, glad to see a few people are enjoying the game already! Hope you and everybody else has lots of fun!

    I'll give some impressions.

The game is funtastic! It's a blast to play. I've been having so much fun going through the levels. The retro graphics are really nice. The controls go great with the game. The air brake and turbo are truly fun to mess around with. Pretty fast loading, haven't had any bugs. The difficulty ramps up pretty fast, but I still feel compelled to play again. And again. And again. Definitely a must buy for ANY racing fan. For $1.99, it IS a steal. It's worth the money.

I'm i crap if i can't get passed platforming just learning C. You have to finsh a platforming in 10 retrys and both times i got 11.

Edit: I did it in 4 retrys :D.

half racing, half flying :p i've been playing it and i would strongly recommend buying. It has very quick restarts for frustration free racing, it has ranking systems, controls respond quickly so you can do crazy drifts through the corners and nos-burn your way through the aerials, the sense of speed is great..

It's everything I was expecting and more. Not a cakewalk, but even failing a jump
is awesome. The first time I saw the airbreak I almost cheered. Great fun, and I haven't even finished the learning levels yet. There's nothing quite like it in the app store.

Wow... More than I'm expecting. I 100% seriously mean it when I say, This is one of the funnest games on my iPod. Just amazing!
Two complaints, although they aren't dealbreakers.
    No tutorial, and...
I'd like to rev my own engine. :D
But all in all, one of the best two dollars I've spent in a long time, and....
    This game makes me giddy.

Tutorials are always nice, even in relatively simple games:)

I have never heard of this game but I will buy it because everyone seems to be excited about it. That could be a good decision or bad.

I agree. I'm still not sure how to do tricks. I've accidentally barrel rolled a few times and it was AWESOME! But this game was easy to figure out, just a bummer they didn't add one in. I forgot to say something before!
"Holy load times Batman!" They're fast! Crap... I want to keep playing!
    I guess it's done it's job then. :D

Yep, that was one of the things we skipped to keep the price to $2.00

But here is a tutorial video:

It was posted on the 'up and coming' thread previously.
