It's only gameplay video, and the dev can select what partitions of the game are recordable. Please explain your reasonings, so I can decide whether kamcorder is the right option for us. From my perspective it's a great option, am I missing something?

You're exactly right -- all we store is the videos your users share, and you control what parts of your game are recordable. We are not in any way abusing app or user data.
