You can edit the controls for each game. I have this set to joystick and fire button so purely thumb and single finger for me in use.

I also have the c64 app and this works just as well. If anything, the way the controls can be remapped in Elite is better.

Worked well, no issues.
It does stutter and the title music has desync issues on the iPad 2 - after a reset, with a non-pirated, original copy of the game, under 5.0.1. (On older hardware, these issues are even worse.) Will quickly shoot a comparative video of the two titles (Manomio vs this, the former running on the much slower iPad 1 but still delivering much better performance.)

Thats strange as it seems fine to me.

Im running an ipad 2 5.01. (Not jailbroken and original purchased game).

I would be interested to see what the videos show. Afterall it has been about 20-25 years since I played the "proper" copy of Uridium.

Can you tell me how you got the iCade to work with the Elite app. I just got my setup today and can't figure out how to get them to work.

Default Note from Elite - the publisher of these apps.

Do you own the previously released:

- ‘Retro Games’ and / or
- ‘Elite Collection’ apps?

Have you purchased the new 'C64: Elite Collection / Free' apps?

If so, then please note that support for the previously released apps has been discontinued.

Consequently, should you wish to do so, you may apply for a refund of the purchase price of the previously released apps, plus the purchase price of any associated in-app content.

Please see the description of the previously released apps at the iTunes App Store for details.

Might be some time till these come back. The huge issue was that many of the developers were never paid royalties. The devs took Elite to court who started finally paying out. But the devs dont want their games associated with the Elite app so for now i cant believe theres many left to add to the Elite app

The issue is if that bluetooth keyboard is ONLY for the Elite games (which it was at one stage) then there wont be many to play !! Be interesting to see what happens.

But i doubt you'll see the Elite speccy app back at any point soon

Sad state of affairs, loved Elite back in the 80's, spoke to them a fair bit about iOS apps and testing and then all this happened, gutted
