In keeping with the "hidden gems" thread recently started, what are the best free games out there? With the following qualifications: - not a Lite version of a paid game - not a temporary sale (if a price reduction, one that has last a long while) So what's good out there for us cheapskates? With 100,000 apps out there, there's got to be some free "hidden gems" as well.
Agreed, the Tap Tap games are good. Of course, if you want more songs, you'll pay for them. Although my hats off to them for throwing us a free bone everyone once in a while.
Every once in a while? Don't they add a new track for free each week? Reguardless, they have a ton for free and tap tap revenge is a great game so I would recomend it for sure. Also you can buy tracks with credits earned from downloading other free apps(you can delete afterwards) I dowloaded stuff like buzzme, fantasy football, textfree, ect. Eliminate is a good free game. A lot of people will argue this one due to it's dlc model, but the game is good. Other than that can't think of any that meet you standards from the OP.
I'll have to agree with you on Tap Tap. But then again, I don't play that game a whole lot since I get too much of the Rock Band / Guitar Hero vibe on my consoles. I'll have to go through my iPod Touch but I'd say about 70 percent of what I have on there was free. But, then again, most of them were temporary sales. Just thought I'd bring this up as there may be some permanent freebies from devs that I've overlooked. I know some developers make older versions of their games free to push people to buy newer versions. For instance, isn't the first Jelly Car free (could be wrong but I can't check where I'm at now)?

freeappaday.com gave me battle bears and istunt. and I got iblast moki, totemo, and minisquadron from appventcalendar.com is that cheating?
tower madness zero is great too (it's the full version of the game with ads) Also Words with friends Chess with friends both have free full versions with ads.
