@johnny: I was wondering why Paul would still be annoyed at the weapon system in MC4 when Alex explained it to us the other day.
Yeah, I do look forward to showing all of you my superior skill and reflexes. Of course my device doesn't hurt XD I really do want to see two things: A) when we pick up another guy's gun in MP it has the attachments, too B) no more grenades/rockets killing through walls And while I'm on impossible requests, I might as well add that I would love to see decent AI, bigger levels with more back alleyways/alternate routes (in campaign) and an ability o kick players in MP matches. Among the things I'd like go see in MC5 are realtime bullet holes for enemies and unicorns.
It's a sort of inside joke between myself and a few buddies. No clue how it started, but one of us used the term in a comical way and ever since we'll randomly say it.
If the STP video is anything to go by, it'll look phenomenally better than MC3 (additional of realtime shadows, dynaimic lighting, higher poly count, more particles, motion-capture animation, ragdolls, havok, etc) but with a rather mediocre framerate. @WCfields I'm surprised you haven't questioned it sooner

been spoiled... loved playing FPSs on my ipad... then went and got the 15inch rmbp and man the stuff on the ipad i got so excited for seems to be not nearly as amazing looking these days... but anyway, MC4 looks nice (i'd say great but it seems to be missing a layer of awesome-ness, i dunno just an opinion)... i read the thread often but maybe i missed it... will there be a NOVA3-esque retina switch? Also, anyone else notice in NOVA3 on the 4th gen iPad, no update to the app but it automagically uses Retina assets AND all the sweet fx.... oh JBRUU remember the disaster of NOVA3 and trying to get those effects going?
Yep. All too well. It was actually a big reason why I upgraded (that and a little windfall ) That app was notoriously difficult to mod, though TASM, TDKR and Asphalt 7 are all easily tweaked by fooling with a few key cfg files. Ah, I wish more apps were like that. Or better yet, gave us an entire window in the menu to do it ourselves. A switch for retina vs full effects has not been confirmed yet, and personally I'm thinking that the iPad 3 will be rocking retina but less effects in the release build. If there is another public outcry like with N3, the next update will probably remedy that.
I did mythbusters for MC3 and I plan on doing it for MC4, If you have any myths I should do off the bat just give me a suggestion Like things that worked in MC3 but might not work in MC4. I wont be able to play seriously till the weekend, like alot of other ppl here cuz of school and exams but when I do, You best watch yourself
