On New Years day, the App store finally approved my favourite app so far: http://bit.ly/1lmUbHr Up until then I had released 6 apps that have flopped against my reasonable expectations. This app has achieved more downloads in 1 month than the rest of my apps put together. However, I wondered... is 11,000 downloads actually good as a benchmark?
It's a fine started but the most important things which is needed for some indie devs are active users. You may have 100,000 downloads but just only 1000 active users per days is a problem. Mean your app didn't keep them stay long in games, giving some twist to solve the problem is your next mission.
Wow, congrats man! To be honest, this sounds flippin' good to me, as my apps only tend to attract perhaps a download a day (if even)!
