He answered: "Really good [port], but if you can't get on with touch controls and don't have an MFi controller, you might have problems." I suppose it's not perfect, but not bad either. By the way, the latest updated adressed controls issues. Not perfect, but not bad. The problem is the weird/unconfortable virtual dpad. Castle of Illusion's was better. It's far from unplayable, but it could be better. syntheticvoid Well-Known Member Jun 20, 2010 14,504 124 63 Musician & factory worker. a[V-O-I-D] http://apparentsymmetry.bandcamp.com #10 syntheticvoid, Dec 22, 2015 Last edited: Dec 22, 2015 The same team that ported Risky's Revenge did this... The controls are just about as tight, and perfect with a controller. I had the OG GameBoy version of Duck Tales, and while the games aren't exactly the same, there's enough similarities to bring back a LOT of memories from my pre-teen gaming years. It's hard to pass up on a platformer this polished, no matter how short it might be, for a buck. Anyone get this to work? Dunno why I didn't try it before posting about the mfi controls... Sorry... neonbible Well-Known Member Jan 24, 2011 312 0 16 #13 neonbible, Dec 23, 2015 How long does it take to complete? I'm actually a big fan of short and sweet games as I don't have much time to get too deep into games now. syntheticvoid Well-Known Member Jun 20, 2010 14,504 124 63 Musician & factory worker. a[V-O-I-D] http://apparentsymmetry.bandcamp.com #14 syntheticvoid, Dec 23, 2015 According to howlongtobeat.com - 3 & 1/2 hours for the main story, 4 & 3/4 hours for the main story plus extras and almost 9 hours for completionists (all on average). http://howlongtobeat.com/game.php?id=12716 I cleared it in about 4 and a half hours and deleted it. Not that it's bad... but it's 1GB installed, and I really don't have much room for gig+ games ATM. But yeah... nice to know I can just install it in the future and, even if I want to 100% everything, will be able to finish and delete it in a couple days at most. =o) And now... back to Templar Battleforce. =oD orangecan Well-Known Member Aug 9, 2011 1,997 145 63 #15 orangecan, Dec 23, 2015 Got to say as great as this is the lack of save points is doing my head in.... That's 3 times I've made it to the first boss, got beaten then had to start Again. It's a lovely game but I just don't have the patience these days to replay levels that much. 20 years Go yes but not anymore Lavender Well-Known Member Dec 31, 2013 2,967 0 36 United States #16 Lavender, Dec 24, 2015 I purchased 4 copies for foster kids. A lot of great deals are making it affordable for me to gift lots of games to foster kids who would not be able to get them other wise. They love this one and are calling it 'Old school."
