    Hi everyone,

Wave Wave is a project I've been conjuring for 5-6 months now, due to the fact that the visuals are almost exclusively built with code, and also due to the the fact that it has several modes of play.

It's an arcade game that will be released for iOS late February / early March.

UPDATE 25.02.2014: Release was originally going to be late Feb, however I have been unable to launch the game at that time, so I will confirm the exact release date as soon as I can.

If I had to use one word to describe the game, it would be 'savage'.

UPDATE 21.02.2014: This video is the penultimate pre-release trailer.

This is a teaser showing the hardest difficulty of the game, basically the meat and bones eh? You'll have to unlock it though.

Wave Wave features the album 'Parallel Processing' by Danimal Cannon and Zef.
This music is insane. Check it out here.

    Good bits:
    --- Uncompromising, fearless gameplay.
    --- Overcome mind-to-finger-to-screen latency.
--- Fall into 'the zone' where your brain switches off.
--- Two humans made this music together... it's amazing.

I tried to avoid ‘safe’ arcade design as much as possible and just go nuts, within reason and without breaking every design code. I wanted to shake things up.

"Stupid" difficulty = instabuy. I couldn't care less that I got motion sickness from the trailer - I did every time I played Super Hexagon and it never stopped me! This. This will do!

The music and the voice are a bit too similar to SH, but who cares! Instabuy

More details from the press kit:

    - Intense, uncompromising, fearless gameplay.
    - Arcade game play smashed together with modern visuals.
    - Crushing difficulty that is quickly overcome with light bulb moments.
    - You'll need to overcome brain-to-finger-to-screen latency.
    - Bombards the senses; fall into 'the zone' where your brain switches off and you play better.
    - Minimal game mechanic.
    - 5 game modes, 25 levels, only 5 difficulties (or is there?)

  14. Looks pretty cool. Looking forward to it.

I've decided to slowdown in the aggressive buying behavior, but as long as this game is less than $5, i'll instabuy.

I've got tons of backlog i need to get into, and that is my new year's resolution for meself.

Thinking around 3 dollars, seems fair.
Even with the extra game modes and scripted levels, in my eyes this is a realistic asking price.

Oh, and to everyone who posted or will post later:

3 bucks sounds fantastic! I assume there'll be no IAPs? :)

  19. How do you control movement in this game?

    Exact-Psience Nope, no iAPs.

JCho133 How about playing the game? :D

I'd be stoked to get a bigger group of play testers before Feb.
I'll unlock the 'random' and 'levels' game modes for everyone who wants to drop me a line with their TestFlight email.

    Let's rock 'n' roll.

Connector Touch+hold to rise, let go to fall.
