Greetings! Dungelot is a fun casual roguelike that plays almost like a strategic Advent Calendar. Flip over tiles to reveal amazing treasures or deadly monsters in your search for the key to exit the level. While your eventual demise is all but guaranteed, you can use your loot from previous runs to build up your characters and ensure each run can be at least a little deeper. We've started sequel and glad to show you pics and first WIP video of the gameplay This game mixes rpg, roguelike, minesweeper, card game genres and designed for mobile platforms. Hope you enjoy Cheers Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel Web Demo: http://dungelot.com/2/
Amazing news, its an instant buy for me. But the screenshot looks a little bit strange, not the typical and 'cute' dungelot style with little figures. Here are my whises for the New Game: - more talents for Char Updates - some permanent gear or tools, that you can Upgrade too - different Dungeons with a difficult Level - Boss Fights, maybe every 50 floors - more quests
Working...Level ups Dont look on cyrillic font it's just a part of localization as I will localize Dungelot2 on different languages. Each time you get level you get spare experience point. There are 5 different stats: hp, attack, initiative, armor, magic armor. initiative will work slightly different from dungelot: To strike first your initiative should be higher than that monster. Initiative can't be higher certain point. Same for armor. There are 3 types of monster attacks right now: normal, magic and piercing. So to get less damage from normal attacks you need to improve armor.
screenshot from current progress I've added a grate and lever. Grates generated randomly on different objects, after that in some uncleared part of dungeon lever appears. You must find it and pull to open grate. As I deduced monsters from dungeon ( you may see your current enemy on the right icon ), I've added imps: they don't attack you but have a lot of hp and block nearby cells. Each turn you have few action points you spend on opening new cells / perform some actions. After zero action points fight with monster starts automatically till his ( or heroes ) death.
Grates and levers sound like an interesting new mechanic. The graphics sure have a different feel compared to Dungelot...
Looking forward to Dungelot 2; and ehatever else comes from this machine of a developer. Good news about a hopefully quick launch of D2 (fingers crossed).
Dungelot 2 will have slightly different gameplay and visualization part. Second part make Dungelot obsolete in game controls as I try to make game even more easier to pick up and play. Heroes will become more customizable.Player may choose up to 4 different passive skills for a hero. Passive skills no longer belong to heroes, you can buy/open new skills and add them as you like. Instead all heroes will get one unique active skill that may be used in battles.
This looks great! I'm really hoping for a difficulty level more like the original Dungelot release, though. I want it to be a challenge to get to level 15, 20, etc
