Yeah, great to see that there is a backup implemented. It's all good now, got back up to speed with where I was before the crash and backing up regularly. Such a good game. My new obsession. In the meantime, get some iron and make an iron pickaxe. They last for ages and are really easy to use.
Shame they didn't just make it so the best pickaxes break any block in 2 hits. As of now, there are some blocks that take a minimum of 8 taps, even with the best 'axes. IMO that should have been the initial fix, if not the final fix...
Alright - what's the deal - I found this cool looking chest, one I had never seen before - silver with gold trim - was totally excited. Then I broke it open and it was like puffs of air came out! Nothing! What's with that?
I think they're planning to eventually make it universal, if I recall correctly. I've been playing on an iPad 2 and it controls splendidly. There isn't much of a difference graphics-wise since the style is pixel-ish. It's the kind of game where it isn't really worth holding out for a universal version, in my opinion. nicodemus82: Craftable items actually number more than the total of recipe pages since you can switch some materials around. Like the ladder recipe says that you need wood, but you can swap the wood with bamboo to make bamboo ladders. What's even more massive is the number of stuff you can find in this game that you can use for ornaments and such. And oh my god, that bunny.
Between Christmas and new year the iTunes staff must be on holiday as nothing new is released and no new updates or anything. Happens every year

Agreed, a lot. I am holding out for now, and just mining. After I have collected enough of the recipes I am going to start creating my own huge mansion with all of the craftable objects. The amount of things you can use to decorate your house is ridiculous.

Holy freaking crap that update sounds amazing. I wasn't expecting so much stuff to be added. There sounds like so much new stuff happening I might actually start my game all over again when this hits. (which will give me sometime to have a break and play gta3 until the updates ready). Again wow! I'm just off to now research computer hacking so I can hack in to iTunes and give Junk Jack 6*s
