Even if you're not into the game, you should check out the documentary "Minecraft: The Story of Mojang" if you have any interest in indie game development at all. It's quite an amazing story. I liked the part where it covers Minecraft being used in schools to set tasks and problem-solving challenges for kids... those lucky little...

Notch is the guy who lived the indie developer dream. He had a game he was working on, alone, and decided to try and sell access to it so he could finish the game and maybe start his small, modest career.

Instead he made millions. I think I read an interview once that said he became a little depressed as he saw the number on his bank account grow exponentially. Stopped looking at it all together.

Must be strange to feel like you've somehow made the biggest success ever when you were just taking your first steps.

Daw, just go watch the documentary.
