Neon Adventures HD version for iPad just dropped to free. Gotta check it out!

Edit: I played the first 5 levels of the game, and while it is a well-made game my overall reactions are mixed.

I like the aesthetic, and the premise reminds me of a game called Crystal Quest from back in the Mac OS 7 days. Essentially, a boxed-in zone where you have to fly around collecting "good items" (in this case, butterflies) while avoiding bad items, blades. The controls work very well, and the basic premise is sound. If you like this type of puzzle game I would definitely recommend you checking it out while its free.

However, I don't think the game will hold my attention in the long run. Even though the challenge ramps up with each level, it remains the same challenge, just with more "stuff" on the screen. I could see this quickly becoming tedious. That, and quite honestly, the screen is way too loud and cluttered. Between the play field, the column of power ups on the left, the time on the top, the butterfly count, and the menu bar, it is information overload. I am a bit of a minimalist myself. And finally, I think the music could definitely do with some additional tracks.

In any case, I appreciate the opportunity to check this out for free. Thanks to the devs, and I wish you luck!

Thank you for that wonderful feedback...

Your views are totally true and some of them even we din't yet realize until you brought , so thanks again for that.Fairly speaking it din't do all that well on the app store and that brought in a lot of doubts which lead to thinking as why I din't do well. Its been a huge learning curve for us and I think its something that we learnt the hard way, which our ego's took it badly but good in every other sense.

We're trying to come up with a new version of our game which have improvements based on what we've learnt and also some more variations added based on some reviews.

Nevertheless we'll be updating this one also soon with a few more levels. So do check it out when it does come out.
