I'd have to reccomend Monkey Island. Best Game EVERRRR. Plays similar to Broken Sword, and you can play the original 1990's version by just swiping two fingers apart. It's awesome, the sequels coming out this summer.
The two Fighting Fantasy gamebooks are heavy on story (especially the first one) and Gamebook Adventure 1 is on sale at the moment (These are essentially interactive books with RPG elements and are a lot of fun!) The Quest + Expansions has a lot of story and a ton of gameplay. Undercroft is similar, but smaller scope. (and is a much easier game to get into) (Dragon Bane II is a favorite of mine, but has old crusty graphics, play one of the previous two first!) Luna Story and Fruit Farm Tycoon both have a decent amount of story.
ok thank you downloading it now is it made by the same people as broken sword? because it looks simliar
Enviro Bear has the most realistic and touching and lasting story not only on the iDevice but on all consoles this past decade.
It does, but it's so cheesy and incoherent that it doesn't really count...but shhh it's still amazing
Enviro-Bear 2010 is the game to rule all games. From the very beginning day I started to engage in the masterpiece, my heart was uplifted in joy-I was in personal possession of a holy relic. The storytelling and deep, sophisticated gameplay, ambient graphics, a moving and riveting soundtrack which would have put Mozart in awe, and all for a ridiculously cheap price of a dollar- Enviro-Bear 2010 is the ultimate cultural phenomenon of our generation. One Game to rule them all, One Game to find them, One Game to bring them all and in the darkness bind them In the Land of iTunes where the Games lie.
Secret of Monkey Island. P.S. Dracula: The Path Of The Dragon – Part 1 is currently available for free. I don't know how good it is, but it is a point-and-clicker. And the remaining parts are already out, too.
