PathPix is the granddaddy on iOS afaik. There are several different titles, all made by Kris Pixton, and they are well worth the buy in. The formula in those games is very basic (the games don't throw tons of new wrinkles at you), but they are enjoyable and relaxing. Huebrix is a bit like PathPix on acid. It has tons of different things it does to change up what you are doing. PathPix is definitely the more meditative experience.
Puzzle Restorer is distinct from both. Agreed on the challenge level. I'm terrible at visualizing things like this, but I like the concept a lot. One request. I'd really like to be able to turn off the "tile shake" animation. |

This game is an excellent take on this type of puzzle. I'm surprised no one's done it before. I hope that they add GC achievements for this one.
For games similiar to this definitely check out SEQ; it's one of the more original games I've seen in a long time. As far as Kris Pixton goes his PathPix series is great, but LOOPical and PrismaPix are more challenging IMO. Last edited by .THOTH.; 02-14-2013 at 11:22 AM.. |

Are the move limits supposed to be absolute minimums? I've beaten two so far - gamepad by 2 and top hat by 8.

Well I absolutely adore this game, despite it being quite difficult haha. I can't get past the fifth picture
![]() But very good game. It is a lot like PathPix, but distinctly different as well. I love PathPix, too! The things I wish for, as improvements, are: - a hint system - change the squares on the grid to squares, and not oblong shapes... seriously screws with my mind, even though I'm sure that is the art style you were going for. All in all, a wonderful game, though

I am through the Novice puzzles now and well into the Assistance ones. New elements have been introduced and then results are very clever and interesting. I love it! Also, the simple aesthetics of this game are great. 5 stars for me.

I've just completed the assistant set of puzzles, and the game remains a joy to play. It's relaxing, and fun. I enjoyed the shout out to Commander Pixman, one of my favourite platformers on iOS.
Thank you for all of the reccomendations! Will definitely check those out. I do enjoy picture puzzlers, but have not played many different types. I've mostly stuck to the Picross games on Nintendo's systems. I haven't checked it out yet, but Oh Cube! on iOS seems to be a decent Picross 3D clone. Thanks again, and happy restoring!

Just finished all the puzzles. Great game, hope it gets enough love to warrant some additional puzzles in an update or something.
