Basic or Smart, how many have you had in your life?

I had 3 basic phones.... 2 versions of Droid, and now, I have a Galaxy S4..... the only phone I have ever truly enjoyed using.

So, I have had 6 phones in about 15 years or so.

  2. About 20 cause I used to be a Microsoft admin. So had all microsoft mobile phones, all palm phones, blackberry, etc, rotated phones every couple of months.

From Microsoft mobile, iphone 4, now to the awesome Android Samsung Note 3 which I love cause it is a great business phone with a huge screen, spen, removeable battery, horsepower, and sd card for huge disk space.

Around 50, because I am really old and I have moved many many times, and phones used to be rented from AT&T, never bought.

Lol...my first phone was a Motorola Flip-Phone and it was the size of a wakie-talkie. Internet was unstable back then but could get some text like info. That was in the late 90's and have had a new phone aprx every 2/3 years since so less than 10 phones for me.

I think I've had about 12. I got my first one around 1999.

    Well, not that many...

I have had one LG Phoenix, one of the older touchscreen phones. Currently, I have a iPhone 4S. I am only 13 though, but I take care of my stuff very well.

I started with a Ericsson T28 (had to look it up), then got an Alcatel DB (this one not) and then I decided that enough was enough and went with Nokia, the 3220. I didnt want to leave that one, it was awesome at the time, but then smartphones came in and it took me a while to get another one, the N95, then the N97 and in between a SONY ERICSSON, the James Bond model, 800 or so. That was disappointment. Then the iPhone 4 launched and after a brief inspection of what it offered I didn't think it twice and bought it, then the 5. Now, I will always have iPhone. Planning on buying the iPhone 6 the second it comes out.

Too many to list. My first phone was a Nokia 5110 when I was about 17 years old. My current phone is a HTC One.

I've owned about 20-30 phones. The majority of these being company phones over the years that get swapped out or upgraded.

    Not many truthfully

First one was some kind of Treo I can't remember much about it or who even made it (was treo an actual manufacturer, had wap which was kinda cool at the time.

Second is still probably my favorite phone of all time it was a Siemens C35i again it only had wap but it was such a cool little phone it got me quite a bit of attention I ended up with a girlfriend who had the exact same phone.

After that I didn't bother with mobiles for quite a while and bought things like mp3 players and ipods, skype subscriptions.

Next was a Galaxy S Advance and I did really like that phone mine had phenomenal battery which I've never seen any smart phone compare to and I could never work out why also loved the fact my 64gb Micro SD worked even though the phone was advertised as only 32gb supported. Passed this on to my dad relatively recently it's still going strong.

My current is the S4 mini mainly because I saw it as the logical successor to the S Advance, battery is still good for me but not as good as my S Advance was I do love the Infra Red remote on it though.

Next phone will probably not be android since Google's nerfed Micro SD's, I think it will either be a 128gb iPhone (if they become available) or a windows phone which supports 128gb Micro SD's but possibilitys like Tizen if their available will probably interest me.

I've owned 2 mobile phones, the first was a Nokia I bought many years ago, then about 4 years ago I bought a Samsung.

Sadly I dropped it in a puddle one day and it stopped working, that was over 2 years ago and I've not bought another phone to replace it, I figured I don't really need one that bad. So I stick to my BT landline.

I'm happy with second hand phones

A few months ago I bought a 64 gig iPhone 4S for £200. Love it. Tons of room. I don't need the latest phone and only 'upgrade' if I have to due to game compatibility. Sold my old iPhone 4 and iPod touch 5th gen which essentially paid for the new phone.

In a £15 a month contract as well with unlimited data. The contracts for new phones for £40 or so a month sound ridiculous .

Yep i think some people must be quite rich ! Again with the latest phones you often have a huge silly high monthly contract or a deposit you have to pay and then a silly high contract per month !

My phone is $20 a month, some friends pay $60+ a MONTH ! Just ridiculous for a few phone calls and text messages. Just not worth it.

I've only ever hard 2 cell phones and they were/are both basic flip phones, never owned a smart phone because data plans are still too expensive in my opinion (I wish I could get in on the deal PSJ has, $20 sounds more reasonable than US market). I lost the battery cover for my current phone so stuck on some black duck tape to hold it together.
