Yeah ‘another site’ mentioned Irems sale in August for their metal slug games. Bit of a scam I think. Messaged that site to tell them in 3 weeks the games won’t work in iOS 11 so the sale was a bit scammy. They tried to contact SNK about it but yeah no reply

On the bright side, Baldurs Gate 2 and Icewind Dale were both updated at the last minute. Hoping BG gets it's update soon.

Acceptable trade off to have Tactics updated.

They don’t mention it, but while you lost the old iCloud save, the new iCloud save feature just works better. Before it was glitchy as all get out to actually use iCloud.

    R-Type & R-Type 2 have been updated to 64-bit.

The scan line filter could do with iPad Pro resolution support, but being 64-bit is a biggie.

Anyone else keep hoping that Fireflame will drop a Hail Mary dungeon raid update and blow our minds? #

I keep hoping for Space Invader Infinity Gene. That feels like it’s the last big game that didn’t get updated for me.

EDIT: just checked on Infinity Gene. It is not only kot updated, but the app description makes it clear it will NEVER be updated. Drats.

  8. Made an album of my incompatibility list, including noting which apps were no longer "on the App Store": https://imgur.com/gallery/zWfLM

Even beyond all that, I have the iDOLM@STER games and damn wish their purged-with-app-inactivity DLC was updated to host from Apple's servers (I was able to buy DEMONS' SCORE's far after its delisting), or even better just integrate them into the base apps, as well as proper iCloud support for save files, as these are multiple GBs each. But lo, this inperfect world...

It'll be good to see Dark Nebula Ep 2, geoDefense, and Dead Space get updated :-( Sadly the Dark Nebula dev website appears to be offline...

Still can’t believe the cave games have all gone. Must be difficult for devs updating a game which may be ‘dead’ from a sales point of view. But got no problem buying the cave games again if they were updated.

    Anomaly

11Bit said that, for now, the Anomaly series won't be updated.

    Hopefully they'll change their minds.

Im an idiot, so i upgraded to ios11 just to see which ones im losing... so here are the ones installed that dont work anymore.

And the ones i really treasured, And im not ready to delete yet:

Sad that some of these have no chance, as they have been removed from the appstore.

Still gutted about the 64 bit cull BUT i must admit the quality games we're getting lately is brilliant. Its like games on iOS have really stepped it up.

Morphite is stunning for an iOS game, The Witness as well. Death Point an excellent game as is Atomine. Lots of quality games out, pricier than ever (frustrating when a $9.99 game is £9.99) but still happy to support these games as i want lots of sales for premium priced games. But so many great games recently, love it

Jenga has just been updated to 64-bit.

Funniest part is the update notes "minor bug fixes"... lol
