Hello everybody. I keep reading on different topics how people know exactly how many sales did they have in a particular day. I'm new to this thing so I would like to know, is there a way to view how many copies did you sell in a particular day?
as mentioned; Apple provides you daily sales reports. it is a simple text file which, if you got a bit of handy work skills with PHP you can turn into a complete report generation system. i have php scripts that give me a nice summary of countries the products are sold in; how much i make, graphs showing revenue (5-day moving average et al).. cool stuff, but needed if you want to analyse how things are going. i use libchart for charts and the rest is basic php coding.
A great little open source iPhone app for this is AppSales-Mobile. Source is available at http://github.com/omz/AppSales-Mobile . My routine lately: wake up, grab the phone before even putting my glasses on, and check my sales with AppSales. That ruins the rest of my day
Unfortunately I don't have this option in my iTunes Connect. I will e-mail to apple about this, to see what is happening. @bumpoid thanks for that app I will give it a try and I will keep you updated if I manage to see my daily reports Thank you all for your responses!
Some of the following third-party analytic sites may also be able to help: *http://www.flurry.com/ *http://www.ideaswarm.com/products/appviz/ *https://www.appfigures.com Some of the above services are free or offer an enhanced paid version. We are now looking at the last two, in part because they allow you to read reviews from other countries' iTunes stores. I believe Appviz has a 30-day free trial period, then you have to pay, and Appfigures has a 14-day free trial period.
AppViz We've been using the 30-day trial of AppViz. Pretty handy - it can pull in all your rankings and user reviews from the various stores, in addition to tracking all your sales data.
Been using AppViz for several months now. The dev is always quick to release updates whenever Apple modifies itunesconnect and responds quickly to emails whenever I've had problems or questions. AppViz also supports multiple accounts now if you have more than 1 name selling apps on the App Store.
Glad to know I'm not the only one who does that. First thing in the am I check my sales. I used to go to apple.com, download my sales report, import it to excel, etc. This is much easier
