So, a bit like Asteroids, with physics... of a sort. It doesn't look bad, but the play area seems a bit tight based on the video. Still, I do love Asteroids.

Edit: bought it, but haven't played yet. I did want to say, in case the dev ever sees the thread, based on Sanuku's video, it's strange that your ship hangs around a few seconds after being destroyed.

Edit2 game impressions:

I love the physics, but I don't like the playfield size or the controls.

I expected it to control like a dual stick shooter. Instead, you tap/drag in the direction you want to shoot, and double tap quickly to travel in that direction toward where you tapped. Not to that point; just toward it. This means your finger is always in the way of what you want to be seeing and shooting. Also as you can see from Sanuku's video, the other ships are a bit OP, especially with these controls.

If it had controls like Space Miner, I could see loving it quite a bit, even with the small playfield. As it is now, there are no control options whatsoever.

For $.99 I would recommend it, as long as you're a fan of asteroid shooting.

Hmmm. It does. Downloading now to compare.

Edit: Yep. It's a pretty close clone, minus the iAds. I think the asteroids move a bit faster in Alien Invasion, and I don't see any level options in AI.

But it's done by 2 different developers, which one should we support? Or is it the same dev but they change their name? There is no in-game credits to so....
