See dennis40 post on page 9. That was less than two weeks ago so there won't any news worth posting until mid to late next week.
I have a feeling the pending obituary will turn out to be premature and that a resurrection is at hand.
Game is still in beta phase. Said they are reworking the interface. They are reworking the icons in-game specially the one I've reported where the placing of the reload button is far from the fire button and the buy button is not present in the in-game icons. You can only buy weapons by going to the settings in the latest build.
The repositioning of some of the buttons and the addition of the buy button makes a lot of sense actually. That's two very welcome tweaks.
It's about 80% ready now. We also open a contest for map makers For more information please visit our main site
YES 80%! And nice! Too bad I don't know the first thing in making maps lol. Will you also be doing these type of contests while the game is out, and then update the game to ad them?
Totally free, not f2p. No download charge. No iap. Currently on Google Play. It started as a project by a Counter Strike fan with a lot of skill, to bring Counter Strike to mobile and it basically developed a life of its own. It's an homage to Counter Strike but uses Unity and all it's own assets. It is awesome on Android or on the web so really looking forward to iOS version.
Was wondering if you can take a pic of the touch interface for the ios version does it still have the huge non-animated v-stick? It's cool if it still has it though.
The iOS interface is currently (possibly finished) being worked on and streamlined. I don't think it's fully finalised yet so we probably won't see anything of a work in progress. Soon though, hopefully
It's Coming soon soon I can feel it! I think.... Can't wait to vote for the maps! Do you guys have lots of submissions?
Game is I think ready for launch. Hasn't encounter any bugs on my iPad3 with the current build. Love how we can play with both iOS and Android users online.
Because of its close affiliation to counter strike (it is a clone, and an impressive one, great fun on kongregate with the unity web player) I would not be surprised if serious copyright issues/ worries got in the way of a licensed iOS version. I know it was built up from scratch, and that it's like saying all minecraft clones should be pulled, BUT... All minecraft clones have been pulled. There are sandbox games based on voxels, they are not minecraft. I hope they can come to some agreement with valve over an iOS release to avoid lawsuit (if valve were planning a release of counter strike for ios later, they would have priority, even of its not ready) I am no lawyer, but that is my impression of how stuff works.
