New ipad 9.7 unveiled. Faster than Air 2 in every way but macrumors is reporting the 9.7 dosent have the 12.9's 4gig ram nor full performance processor. I don't use my ipad's camera and wont have any need at all for the usb port. I guess my question is, how are air 2 resolution games on the pro? The resolution on the pro is larger but the pixel count is the same so.. wouldnt games look grainer on it? Anyone got any impressions on this? Weight is not an issue.
2GB vs 4GB is a massive difference, and it's kind of shocking that Apple doesn't bump the RAM in all their devices after seeing how much better the iPad Pro XL is with twice the RAM. It's pretty rare for apps to ever reload themselves on the Pro XL, which makes using it, even when switching between a ton of apps quickly with the keyboard command feel a lot like using an actual real laptop.
Bought the 12.9 128gig on sale with keyboard and pencil. Havent used the pencil yet but man the keyboard is fluid! My only gripe is not about the product, its about apple. A PRO 12.9 with usb-c lightning port capable of 29w recharging speeds... and you ship it with a 10w cable and charger. Apple, you Dicks. Ordered the usb-c cable and 29w charging wall plug.
