Is there a pixel art drawing app out there? I'm really interested in it, but I can't seem to find a good one. Anyone know of one, or is developing one?

Well, there is 32x32 which lets you make small grayscale icons that are . . . 32x32 pixels.

App info is currently processing and/or the app is not yet fully available for sale on the US App Store.

What? Apparently it's not available on the US store.

I've been thinking of getting into pixel art for some reason. I think it looks pretty fun, but the problem is I don't have a very active imagination when it comes to drawing and that kind of stuff.

But I may try the two apps that have been named in this thread :D

Though Tiny Pixels, as ikemike said, isn't currently available on the US store :(

Awesome, thanks for this heads up. I was bummed out when I saw it wasn't in the US, and I didn't really want the black and white one. Downloading this one now. :)

    BETTER THAN TINY PIXEL!
Edge Touch, been using it for 8 months, absolutely love it!
You can save photos, unlimited size, etc.

Wow, really? I haven't quite bought Tiny Pixel yet, so you would suggest Edge Touch instead? Do you have them both? Could you say what you like better about ET?

And how the hell does Tim Langdell feel about Edge Touch being on the app store? :p

From what it says on the App Store, Edge Touch supports a 256x256 canvas, while TinyPixels can do 300x300. Of course, DGH94 may be referring to file size.

TinyPixels says it can save the image as a JPEG to the device or e-mail the picture (also as JPEG, PNG as well); not sure about Edge Touch.

Edge Touch allows control of RGB as well as HLS color space.

EDIT: Looks like Edge Touch does export the picture to the Photos library.

    Nothing can do 480X320.
    Except MS Paint. ;)
And I wholly suggest Edge Touch.
I have both, and although similar, I like Edge Touch better, although both get the job done.

Hmm... The only real reason I can see to get Edge Touch, besides personal preference, is for the animation function, something I wouldn't use anyways.

Personally, Tiny Pixel's UI looks better to me (less "native", more polish), but that's personal taste.

Depict, an online pictionary, uses pixel art. You can't make an masterpieces in it as you only have 30 seconds to draw what you are assigned. Its still pretty fun though and free

Haha, it would look weird as we (prob) wouldn't have the same style.
But if you wanna go ahead, sure!

Yeah I guess you're right :) Less work for me then ;)
But still I'll get it for future projects..
infact this could be really useful. Making pixel art any where you are. Would cut dev. time like crazy.
