Universal [Pulled] BioShock (by 2K)

Haha, it's the only thing keeping me from buying the game. After trying this on my friend's iPhone 5S I can definetly say this game suffered from Poor Performance & "Sandpaper" graphics as you've put it

 

Erm, no. As long as you dont want to reverse engineer the binaries and therefore violating the copyright there is no way to change graphics settings. You cant even sign/install it after that without an dev certificate or jailbreaking your device.

 

I hear the iPad version looks slightly less jagged. Maybe someone can trick the iPhone version into running at iPad res (config file?).
I know a while back some games had this bug (can't recall which ones).

 

Sandpaper grainy graphic also on iPad air? I've an iPhone 5 and was thinking owners of iPads was the lucky one,time to test on iPhone 6 plus,but if running at same 5/5s resolution,with it's bigger screen,it's a pain how it looks,but at last my friend say that run without any issue on IPhone 6 plus compared to iPhone 5/5s..no lags,no bad framerate(acceptable framerate)so,I give it a try,waiting an update to fix resolution bug..

 

New update just released, but sadly no resolution bump for the 6/6+.

 

Does this update fix resolution? Or is it general optimizations?

 

No further updates from 2K.

 

Any noticable performance increase after the update (not talking about resolution). Dont want to redownload it unless it runs better on my 5c.

 

Well, i dunno if it's just me, but saving seems a lot faster now

 

Idk if it's my head, but the graphics seem only slightly better, they still look like crap, but I now can read the signs from a distance. Iphone 5S iOS 8.0.2

 

trust me even after the update its so pixelated you feel like you looking at minecraft.

 

yup saving and loading are faster as for the lags and graphic.. nothing is changed. almost feels like they are holding back then the next-gen ipad's come out after the october 16th event then bammmmm guess what if you want next-gen resolution buy the new ipad lol

 

Does it look ok on regular iphone 6?

It looks same as iPhone 5/5s..even on my iPhone 6 plus,but finally on 6/6 plus run better without lags or framerate drops..they need to fix iPhone resolution bug..

 

It looks very pixelated on my iPhone 6, imho kinda more so than on my previous 5s. It's like playing a 640x480 resolution game or even 320

 

Yeah,and more on my iPhone 6 plus,more bigger the screen,more look pixelated,seems to play on iPhone 3G resolution,writing time ago at 2k support,they reply to me that the "team"was aware of the issue,investigating,and now,update,no iPhone 6/6 plus support and nothing fixed..
EDIT: take another ticket at 2k support,I will take until they don't fix the resolution,I don't give up!

 

This game Lags so MUCH! Iphone 5S iOS 8.0.2........ Seriosuly some parts are like slideshows but the splicers just keep coming . I end up dying not because of the shorty controls, not because of the terrible graphics but because the game does not run at a proper frame rate! Why in the hell would they release this train wreck with so many issues!? One of the worst ports I've experienced in a while

 

No problems with the game before the update but after it a lot of problems with framedrops on my iphone 6

 

I'm at work right now,so,until 19pm,I can't update,they enhanced the grapchics on iPhone 6,6 plus without pixelated thinks that you say have frameratedrops? it run smooth on my iPhone 6 plus(without updating)cause it run at same iPhone 5/5s low resolution,they update the graphics and now the framerate goes down?
