If I already have the first, should I bother? Jazzpha Well-Known Member Apr 26, 2012 776 16 18 #7 Jazzpha, Jun 20, 2013 It's similar to the first in terms of gameplay, but expanded in several key ways (more items, more weapon styles, more branching paths). That being said, the game does feature one of the single most annoying bugs I've ever experienced-- occasionally, when you parry successfully, the game will act like you've parried by notifying you of it, but the attack will still hit you anyway. Nothing game-breaking, but if it happens at the wrong time it can be immensely frustrating. Still an incredibly solid purchase for a buck, though. I don't remember enjoying Infinity Blade all that much. I thought it was an overrated piece of crap that was only renowned for its gorgeous graphics. The gameplay, to me, was stale, and I hated the story. How lazy can you get? Play through the same battles over and over and over until you get leveled up enough to defeat the Wicked Witch of the West? I don't know. I really didn't enjoy it now that I recount those memories. Buuuuut... this is now $1, and it sounds like it has improved in the variety department... so I'll bite one.sixty.four Well-Known Member Jan 14, 2013 1,282 0 0 minnesota #17 one.sixty.four, Jun 20, 2013 I'm really tempted. the only thing that is holding me back is the 1+ GB size. The question is...is it worth bothering with the first Infinity Blade when it goes on sale now that I own the sequel? (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
