It is so hard to distinguish actual upcoming games in the upcoming games subforum. I propose that all new threads titles be modified with something like (OUT) as a label so we can distinguish it has been released. This would also alert people who don't pay attention to the released section that the game has been released. Most importantly this would make it easier in the future to find threads of actual upcoming games.

Every thread in the upcoming section is closed once the related game has been released, which means that people can't post in them anymore and as more and more people post in "actual" upcoming game threads, those that have been released are pushed down the list, WHICH IN TURN means that most (if not all) threads on the first page (and certainly at the top of the list) belong to "actual" upcoming games.

    *takes a deep breath*

Like metal says most upcoming threads are closed. Most 'fade away' if theyre not closed but the annoying thing is if theyre bumped by a user as they post in upcoming (when the games out) not the actual new game thread in the main section

We have to do that manually though, so that comes with its own share of manpower problems.

If you see an upcoming thread for a game that's already been released (unless it's a soft launch... those can be weird) then report it and we'll close it. It'll take you 30 seconds and you will make the forums a better place!
