This game is freaking amazing.
I'm glad it went free.
I probably would have never experienced had it not.

Thank you Lazer, we really appreciate that. Unfortunately, in a world where effortless games like Flappy Birds are smashing the charts, games like Hip Hop Berserker tend to sliiiiiide way under the radar.

I'm a hugeeee hip-hop fan. Can you tell me if the main character rhymes any more after the opening scene?
I loved that scene, and I hope to get to here him spit some more.

The story is actually really cool.

No, there aren't any other scenes in the game with Saro rapping. But be sure to check our YouTube to see other videos and maybe a future rap with Saro

I think that's a real missed opportunity. Whoever the voice actor is is actually really nice.
Is there any music I can get from this artist? I assume it is you, since you stated you did all the voice overs...

I have a bit of constructive criticism.

As stated, I absolutely love this game...
But berserker mode feels more like a punishment than a reward to me.
In rhythm games we've been taught since day one that when we screw up the music screws up as a result.
Berserker mode slows the music down, making you lose your rhythm...and more often than not, makes the enemies harder to deal with.

I think it would be better for the music to slow down when you miss a swipe, and when you enter berserker mode you become more powerful or temporarily resistant to attacks.

Also, most of the beats are nice but they all feel the same and can become monotonous (I'm a hip hop producer, so I am picky in this area). Sometimes the levels feel long and laborious.

Just my 2 cents

Thanks for the criticism LK. Definitely something we can fix in an upgrade since you are not the first person to talk about BZ mode. I can throw up another freestyle on YouTube next week, but we can't fit anymore videos into the game (it's already 1/2 a gig in size). The music was all done by Kyo Itachi with improvements made by Brock Berrigan. You can google them to find some of their work, some of Kyo's tracks are available on iTunes.
