Oh ya I forgot Epicycle Sorry but this is off topic but why are you not a moderator undeadcow? You do so much work, same as peteozzy and some others?
Nominations: Flappy Nightmares Hitman Go Bounsy iOOTP Baseball Necromancer Rising Reborn Thank you. I'm not sure how one becomes a moderator but most days I'm just glad I didn't end up getting banned for my foolish antics. The moderators really help with the GOTW with stickies, etc behind the scenes so thanks to them. That PeteOzzy guy is pleasantly insane; he pretty much carries the forums.
Here is the tally of nominations with the top 10 (any with 2+ nods) making the poll. Unpossible 13 Hitman Go 10 Hearthstone 7 Hodappy Bird 7 Yomi 4 Bounsy 2 Epicycle 2 Flappy Nightmares 2 Necromancer Rising Reborn 2 Pororo Penguin Run 2 Froggy Jump iOOTP Baseball Bring it on...
Please don't choose Hodappy bird. It was just a satire. Flappy nightmares was at least original. If you want to kiss Eli's ass, remember to use tongue! Anyways I choose epicycle because it has icycle in the the name which is one of my favorite games. But seriously, it's a great minimalistic puzzler that I'm sure will not win this.
Hitman Go has impeccable style and certainly should be lauded for distilling the series' gameplay to a fun puzzle style. But Unpossible is so damn addictive. Why can't we have two votes?
Voted for Hitman. As fun as Unpossible is, Hitman Go earned my vote. To say I had very low expectations is probably an understatement. But not only is Hitman Go a great game, it stays true to the series and delivers a mobile-friendly take on the franchise's stealth puzzle gameplay. All in a fantastically realized boardgame aesthetic.
This actually turned out to be a very good week; Hitman GO, Unpossible, and Hearthstone will all keep me busy for a while. And even though Hodappy Bird is a joke, and no longer resides on my device, it was a very well told joke. But my vote easily went to Hitman GO, a game that surprised in all the right ways, when everyone predicted a cash grab disaster. It may not have been the literal Hitman experience, and that still has some foaming at the mouth, but it captures the essence of Hitman in a AAA mobile package.
