thatanimator's comments:
Hello!
The game Shounen Kung-fu that I have been working on for a bit is finally released on iTunes and I would love it if you guys could give it a go!

  • The game is fully 3d with tons of animations, cutscenes and fighting.
  • Whack-a-mole style gameplay where the player has to tap markers that spawn before the enemies that are rushing in attack you.
  • Mini-games similar to the ones in Mortal Kombat, where the player has to use all his might to repeatedly tap the screen to break stacks of wooden planks - doing so will unlock bonus levels!
  • Bonus levels feature aliens and matrix style environments and enemies. Completing all of them and acing the game unlocks one last infinite bonus level.

Check out my website for screens and a trailer!

I hope you guys have the time to give my game chance and I hope you have fun with it!

So how does this game control? I don't see any sort of UI in the screenshots or video.

Social Games: Pocket Mine 2, Terra Battle, FF Record Keeper, PAD

It's explained in the tutorial and you can sort of see it in the screens and video.
It doesn't have any virtual joysticks but instead you tap markers that appear around the character as enemies approach.

It's sort of like a rhythm game in that regard, markers appear and you tap these as quickly as possible. Later levels have faster enemies and the enemies all appear in different ways.

Also, thank you Xexist for making a proper post!

Thanks for letting us know...

I dont see any markers in the screenshots. I was with Strivemind on the "vague" part based on screenshots.

The markers in question are well explained in the tutorial. During the production of this game and now when promoting it, I didn't think anyone would miss them. But if that will be a recurring problem I'll give a second thought into presenting things like that more clearer for my future projects. Thank you for the heads up!

But if you play the game, the kung-fu master will tell you how to play the game while you get to train a bit with other pupils in the temple. Hopefully it's all clear by that point

In a future update can you make it to were players can flip the screen? Im right handed and prefer playing with the home button on the right. Its a small thing but almost a deal breaker.

Anticipating:"Death Road to Canada", "Implosion", "Don Paccin","Space Noir", "Zed", "Rex Rocket", "Supermassive", "Sproggiwood", "Arecibo Man", "Gekido", "Trail by Viking, "Crashlands", "Eisenhorn", "The Soul".

Biggavelli, thank you for the feedback!
I will see to it that my future projects all support screen flipping! Sorry!
