For platformer I'd go with Leo's Fortune. Not sure about other genres. RPG maybe the newest Infinity Blade or Horn?
RPG = Oceanhorn. Its beautiful, gorgeous, full of lightning effects, shadows,... and its only 200mb installed. Or Bastion, seeing how the world falls apart behind you and forming in front of you is a sigh to behold the entire game. Yes, those games again
IMO: RPG/Fighting: Infinity Blade 3 3PS: EPOCH.2 Strategy: Anomaly 2 Racing: Asphalt 8 Rhythm: Demons Score Puzzle: The Room 2 FPS: Modern Combat 4 Stealth: Republique Action Adventure: Oceanhorn Arcade: Zen Pinball / Kinghunt Platformer: Icycle / Shadow Blade / Prince of Persia Shadow and the Flame Dont have Leo's yet, so i will have to see that soon.
I think Leo's Fortune will change your list when you get a good look at it. Good list; seems there should be an entry for more traditional RPGs though. This has kind of reminded me that that arena hasn't got much high-end graphical love lately. I'd almost be inclined to fall back on Drakerider or CR2.
Maybe rename this to "most advanced graphics" rather than "best graphics" because I don't think you were looking for beautiful pixel art, were you? Just a suggestion to avoid confuse/flame wars
My list would be(Considering both technical and artistic aspects): JRPG: Chaos Rings 2 Wrpg: Kotor Action: Battle supremacy Platformer: Rayman jungle Run(limbo a very close second) Shooter(Fps): NOVA 3 Shooter(Tps): Shadowgun Deadzone Adventure: Adventures of tin tin Sports: Fifa 14(because of no competition) Racing: Real Racing 3(Best graphics on ios imo only game which looks like an early ps3/360 game) Open world: Ravensword Shadowlands Horror: Dead Space Strategy: Call of duty:Strike team Simulation: Sims free play P. S:Leo's fortune looks pretty Rad too.
