especially with the rate that there updates are coming out, as soon as this comes out minigore will be blown out of the water by the original box head

Wasn't very impressed with the flash version of Boxhead, IMO Minigore is much better. I would actually compare between Alive and Boxhead rather than minigore.

Alive 4-Ever is better than Minigore in the "content" section. Minigore is more of a "pick up and play" game. However, Alive 4-Ever just submitted their survival mode too, so if Minigore doesn't hurry up, Alive 4-Ever is gonna be the top pick for dual stick shooters. Boxhead is just disappointing. I'd stick compare between Alive 4-Ever and Minigore. Comparing Alive 4-Ever to Boxhead is just an insult to Meridian. End of rant. :D

I have to agree in terms of content, Alive beats Minigore but I'm actually thinking in terms of graphics and controls. I never could figure out the fire button for Alive, its pretty hard to control. But yeah, didn't mean to insult Merdian, I actually do look up to them since I myself is a game dev.

Well, if this comes out as a complete game, I'm going to have to say it will be better than Minigore.

I actually find the firing scheme really easy. You just put you right thumb in the middle of the circle, and slide it outwards in the direction you want your character to fire. Trust me, Alive 4-Ever is pretty addicting. So IMO Minigore and Alive 4-Ever stand equal in terms of controls. As for graphics, well, that just depends whether you like them more realistic and horror-themed or more cutesy. :) I like both, but for the dual stick shooter genre, I tend to stick with the first more often.

How is boxhead fun? IMO Minigore still looks a lot more fun.

Today's actually the first time I've actually thought about Minigore being inspired by Boxhead. Anyways, Minigore does seem to have a lot of fans. Look at their thread. 3000 posts and they're still on version 1.0

I know, but just saying. Anyways, we should get this thread back on track. Who likes Boxhead here? Who thinks it can be better than Minigore? [not me]
