    Hi All,

I'm considering releasing my game in Australia and New Zealand first to test some things. Has anyone ever done this?

What is the process when you decide you want to flip to worldwide? Obviously setting a new date in rights and pricing will pull it from the other stores. If it is as simple as just flipping the "Select All" how long does it take to propagate to the various stores?

I would like to time some PR but I don't have a lot of experience and so far searches haven't yielded much.

    Thanks in advance.

Do you find that more useful than aus/nz?

It really depends on what you want to accomplish. Are you testing out your IAPs? Game mechanics? Server load? We tested Mercs in Aussie, NZ and Singapore (Home) to see if our servers could take the strain. I think we would've gone with Canada if it were the IAPs.

Going worldwide is just clicking a few buttons on iTunes Connect. It's takes anywhere from ten minutes to four hours to propagate, if I recall.

I suggest Canada because costs are comparable with AU/NZ and Canada has much more look alike audience as US.

Ok, I've scheduled a "soft" launch for Aus, NZ and CA for 7/30.

We will see how it goes!

Well so far the first week of downloads has been abysmal...

Perhaps wordwide was the way to go?

Did you do any marketing locally?

Do you know what's wrong? If yes, can you fix it?

I placed some Facebook ads locally, not sure what other avenues I can try.

I have absolutely no idea what could be wrong, was hoping to get some feedback by doing the soft launch first but with only about 30 downloads...I'm afraid the odds of that are pretty low.

Perhaps I need to do some more marketing to raise awareness but am reluctant to sink more money in to this based on the current numbers.

Really? Where do you see that?

When I look at those links all say: Released: 30 July 2013
