Are there any games similar to Romance of the Three Kingdoms/Nobunaga's Ambition?

Both of those games are avaliable for iOS.

 

But they aren't similar now, are they?

Unfortunately I can't think of many worthy alternatives to Romance of the 3 Kingdoms but here are some that pale in comparison to the depth there but might have vague similarities:

Rebuild - zombie survivor sim that has a focus on land acquisition.
Palm Kingdoms 2 - castle building and resource management with turn based combat.
Starbase Orion - a space themed 4x game but has an emphasis on "empire" building.

 

I think you're missing the point of this thread.
Romance of The Three Kingdoms is a strategy game based on a period of chinese history, the three kingdoms era.

 

Kodp is pretty close.
