Should be on sale within some hours. It's not as good as the first season, but it's worthy. https://appsto.re/us/k9ylS.i
Is this one exactly the same graphics-wise compared to pc? I know the first walking dead on ipad had quite a few things cut out in terms of details. Like the trees along the highway in the opening scene, and just overall less graphical. Meanwhile the wolf among us on ipad is pretty much identical to pc version from my brief time comparing it.

What gives? I am a patient man, so no worries (and I also have a huge backlog of games) Daxmort Well-Known Member Nov 1, 2009 154 0 0 United Kingdom #11 Daxmort, Oct 29, 2014 I'd prefer it if people didn't automatically assume that people wanting a discount want them to cost $1/£0.69 or less. I've bought plenty of premium apps at release price of £2.49 or more, and plenty of apps on sale for £0.69 (I had no idea HOME was on iOS, so I happily snatched that up for the sale price after having already bought it on PC.) However, given that Telltale games have had plenty of sales on their ENTIRE GAME SERIES' and the season passes on PC, Vita and PlayStation, I would appreciate it if the iOS version had a similar discount, even if it was just 50% off. I'd happily pay the £5/£6 ($8/9) for it, but I'm not paying £12.49 when I could get it on PC for cheaper in sales that have been on multiple times by now. One could argue that I'm paying for convenience of playing it on a tablet, but I don't think that's quite right. neonbible Well-Known Member Jan 24, 2011 312 0 16 #12 neonbible, Oct 30, 2014 I don't get it. Is it on sale or not? Based Xatu Well-Known Member Aug 27, 2013 1,937 0 0 #13 Based Xatu, Oct 30, 2014 Then buy it on another system. Daxmort Well-Known Member Nov 1, 2009 154 0 0 United Kingdom #14 Daxmort, Oct 31, 2014 I've already got the original on the PC. Still makes no sense for what is basically an inferior version to be three times the price of the same game at present on Steam. I would happily re-buy the original on the iOS if they lowered the price to be more reasonable. pouffie Well-Known Member Aug 4, 2013 189 0 16 #15 pouffie, Oct 31, 2014 Thank you Daxmort, exactly my point! Daxmort Well-Known Member Nov 1, 2009 154 0 0 United Kingdom #16 Daxmort, Oct 31, 2014 Walking Dead Season 1: Episode 1 (the app itself) is free, the in-app purchase of episodes 2 - 5 (or 2 - 5 + 400 Days chapter) is still fully priced at £10.49/£13.99 respectively, therefore not on sale at all (at least no more so than it has been for the last year). Walking Dead Season 2: Episode 1 is now £1.59 (down from £3.49 or whatever the usual full price is) with the in-app purchase of seasons 2 - 5 still going for the full £10.49. So yes, it's technically on sale, though the full package is not. neonbible Well-Known Member Jan 24, 2011 312 0 16 #17 neonbible, Oct 31, 2014 Thanks for clarifying. But what a crap sale I'm still holding out for a sale of the full package. Until then I got plenty of games to play. Lisse24 New Member Sep 29, 2013 4 0 0 #18 Lisse24, Nov 1, 2014 Thanks for clarifying the price for the rest of the episodes. I'd prefer to play it on iPad, but I saw it on sale on Steam. It seems like the full game is cheaper if I buy it outright on Steam, rather than on iPad. Maybe this makes me a cheap gamer, I dunno, I just wish we could see the price of in-app purchases (in this case, the individual episodes), before committing to a buy. pouffie Well-Known Member Aug 4, 2013 189 0 16 #19 pouffie, Nov 1, 2014 Exactly! Why pay more for a dumbed-downed version of the same game? I am refraining from buying anything from Telltale until they make a sale on ios too. Daxmort Well-Known Member Nov 1, 2009 154 0 0 United Kingdom #20 Daxmort, Nov 1, 2014 You can actually see the in-app purchase prices by clicking on "in-app purchases" either at the bottom of the app details (if looking at it on the iPad) or clicking "in-app purchases" to the left of the page when looking at it on iTunes or on the web-page.
