The ships will take damage from each torpedo hit and each type of ship can withstand different amounts of damage. Military ships are much more difficult to sink, have faster top speeds, and can turn faster. The destroyer is the most dangerous ship. Once destroyed a ship will take a short amount of time completely sink meaning that they could still take a hit from a torpedo that is heading towards another still active ship. When it finally sinks below the wave it'll leave behind and 'X' showing the locations of all the ships that you have sunk. I have plans for improved AI and more target ship information in the first update.
