    Hi Future,

I would self recommend our team of translators.
DYS: Translations is a provider of translation and localization services for computer and mobile applications (mainly iPhone apps).

Since the launch of the App Store, we translated more than 400 applications into multiple languages.

The Japanese is the biggest market for us, second only to the English/American market.

Feel free to request an entirely free, no-obligation instant quote, with your document for translation to: [email protected]

    Kind regards,
    Danilo.

    Danilo,

Do you use translators who are specifically familiar with game terminolgy? That would be awesome.

I managed the localization on a couple of xbox titles, and I gotta say that Infogrames drove me absolutely batty using translators that were not familiar with games at all.

Finding good localization is a rare treat :)

Just out of curiosity, did a native Japanese speaker do the Japanese translation of your website?

    Just one question:
why did you use the lowest quality level to translate your website into Japanese? :)

I'm not able to judge the Chinese and Spanish versions, but I could provide you a better Japanese translation.

    Good luck.

    You guys are funny

For anyone still looking for iPhone localization assistance, the Japanese is fine and was written by natives. myGengo is a service based in Japan run by Japanese, so obviously it's not in our interest to have a less than stellar Japanese UI.

Languages are dynamic; there's more than one way to write something, yet there will always be people who think their way of saying something is better than others'.
