Yep,there's a lot of content here but If you want to play it with all it's effects then I would say wait for it.It's one of those games which are best experienced first time definitely.So yeah wait if you can and play it once the update hits.

P.S I read the comments in the article about metal update and the devs said that 5s owners are in for a surprise, Are they getting metal update too?

Default Performance on iPad 3rd gen

How does Oceanhorn performs on a iPad 3rd gen? (the first one with retina display). I am willing to buy it, but only if it performs nice.

Heck, it runs great on my daughter's iPad 2 on 8.1.1. Metal update sounds cool!

This has been on my "to buy" list for a while.
Is the new Metal upgrade just for the new iPhones or will it also be in effect for iPad Mini 2?

Mini 2 has A7 processor,Metal is available for A7 upwards.

The metal improvements i've seen in other games now (Battle Supremacy,Asphalt 8,Beach Buggy Racing,Defenders...) is really impressive.Huge step forward.
