It has unlockable characters, leveling and skill upgrades, and of course cards you can buy with in game gold. The combat is fairly straightforward ( turn and card based) you have action points that determine your hit strength, all of your actions cost mana but there are also cards that can add to your mana (example : armor adds 10 mana) so that adds a little strategy element. You have special skills but you have to have a certain amount of mana to use them. so far I have only encountered 2 enemy types ( I hope there are more!) but to be fair I completed the tutorial and only played a few rounds before I had to close so I didn't get too far in yet.
