so when it was released, mega man was panned for being a truely terrible game on the iphone. i think it was mostly because it played differently from the original, and the controls barely worked. i'm extremely bad at mega man games, but it looks like they added a more forgiving mode of play. it also looks like the inteface has been changed and reviews are a lot more positive than before. can anyone confirm if it's actually playable now, and if it's good enough to really enjoy it? i'd like to hear from both hardcore mega man fans and those who maybe picked it up because they kind of like the games. thanks!

@ putermcgee: I have Megaman II and love it. I tried playing it in portrait mode (the one shipped in first version) and could understand why it got panned. But in landscape mode it works really well. I love the game and it's one of my favourite platformer for iPhone. Can't go wrong with $0.99, especially with an icon you can show off (if you're into that). Dark Void Zero looks great, but the icon sucks big time. Too messy and... it has that awful Open Feint logo.
@don_k i realized they have a lite version of mega man 2, so i got that. i'm glad i did too, because i didn't really like it at all. i did pick up dark void zero, and while i'm struggling a bit with the controls, i think i'll be happy with the re-purchase (already have it, but never played it on the ds). and now i'm trying to decide if i should get ghosts'n goblins, phoenix wright, and street fighter 4.
Of course I just bought Phoenix Wright like two days ago and SF IV last week. I can benefit by grabbing Dark Void now though. Does anyone have a good work to say about 1942 for 99 cents?
It would be helpful if the mods changed the title of this thread, as I was reading news on another site and got really excited when I saw all of capcoms games are on sale. Finally getting PW, good thing I just got an itunes gift card. I knew today would be a good day
SF4 is a must have, best fighting game on iPhone and it's just an overall great port to the iPhone from the next gen consoles. It's not even on the DS and PSP or even Wii!!
Now the test of patience begins, I have $1.53 in my iTunes account. Gameloft and Capcom have sales. Me go "Uh-oh"
well i know i wont buy any of there resident evil games i was disappointed in the one i tryed. will check out dark void. i do not remember that one off the top of my head. ok i picked up phoenix. looks interesting. chris.
