Region Locked so even if you have a ph account, dont bother unless you really are from Ph or use some vpn. Should have been mentioned in the front page article imo, as even having a ph account is not enough.

ok, have to admit that it looks sick! not a big fan of racing games, but with these graphics i may give it a spin once it hits Windows 10 Store (if it does... )
It's more of an endless racer than a proper racing game. You don't fully control your car, you just perform swipes and button presses. Highly disappointed. The best reason to play this would be to showcase your device's hardware. What has gaming come to these days.
You can turn off the automatic steering and control the car just like you would in Asphalt 8. Just go into settings and controls and turn on either touch or accelerometer controls. Still controls great. My biggest gripe is that the races are way too short. I mean seriously short.
I actually like the short races. More than 3 laps in a race get boring since it's the same thing over and over again. That's the same gripe i had on NFS back in the days when i played it in the mid 2000s.
What's your phone please? In any case, this is one of the thing that could be improved during the soft launch. Regarding what you guys said about the Touch Drive controls, you are right indeed, it is a new but optional control type. You can activate the classic controls in the options menu at any time.
Wow! Finally! (I mean, almost able to play this). 8 has been around for a long time, huh?! Im keeping it. Dont know how this ones gonna go yet, but I definitely am a little excited to find out!
If you play the soft launch can you connect your account to something like Facebook so when it comes out in the US your progress will transfer?
