I am so stoked about Mega Man 1-6 coming this week. I plan to buy them all instantly and had a question... Does anyone know if this will be available as a bundle or will i buy them all only to see a bundle with all 6 pop up a month later? If so oh well I was just curious if anyone knew. I will post my reviews at TA once I have had time to play them for those on the fence.
Im guessing there'd be a bundle later on if not right away, so im thinking of just getting one of them at a time as i play through them, or maybe 2 at most during release.
The whole time I've been on board with all of them at once and I will if bundled just because it's easy but if not I will prolly start with I and VI and then get two a week
I have noticed Capcom has never used bundles so that would lead me to believe it will be separate and thats fine too just stoked to see how it plays
That makes sense actually. I picked up a few games this recent holiday sale, so i wont have time to play multiple titles anyway so i'll stick to my plan in getting 1 or 2 Mega Man titles on release.
Considering these ports look like a trainwreck in the making, I would highly recommend everyone just try out one of the games before buying any of the others. I'm personally getting Mega Man 2 and if it's alright, I'm splurging on the other five immediately.
Thanks I value your opinion on the matter since you used to game it back in the day too Was worried about that gameplay video I saw that didn't seem very fluid But yeah grabbing one up to test out the waters first is smart when considering capcom and we know how they can go I have some faith in it guess I will get I and go from there Why 2 is that one you like best? I haven't played any of them in so long I can't even remember one I like best but I do have x on my phone still I played a bunch of them on nes back in the day I also have II that was released before on mobile by beeline
I would LOVE to be proved wrong and that what we saw was indeed just badly recorded footage. You have absolutely no idea. Either way, I'm totally stoked for these games. Also, thanks for the kind words. EDIT: Why Mega Man 2? Where do I start? Took everything great about the first and built upon it. The level design and bosses are pretty much platforming perfection and Wily's Castle theme is the greatest chiptune ever. It's the best MM game of all time (with the best soundtrack in all of gaming).
I'm really enjoying DuckTales Remastered at the moment, which has proper Mega Man connections. If the controls work as well as that, we'll be fine.
It's such a brutal game the controls will be key to how good it will be Also wonder if it will be as hard I'm thinking it will have unlimited continues something like that to soften it to no doubt it was one of the harder games to beat for me back in the day
1 and 2. 1 because it's the only Mega Man classic i ever owned in cartridge, ended up finishing it in multiple playthroughs. From MM2 onwards i was playing at a local gaming hub when i was skipping classes. Hhahaha! Im getting 2 because why not? I will have part 1 to start with, why not go by the number since i intend to own them all eventually.
Im actually hoping they add in MFi and do it decently. Not even asking for "perfectly." "Decently" would be acceptable. LOL
yeah MC, that tune is a classic!!! i love this version, check it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iW_Ct49H1ng
Confirmed 1 thru 6 are on google. No achievements. Fixed controller icons on screen so if it dosent support controllers droid devices should still be able to manually map the screen buttons to a controller.
That tune love it I do remember that Up there with castlevania Dracula level theme for me I and II and VI duck it just get them all after I try out II
Since the announcement I've been playing the mega man x port capcom did and its really not all that bad I've enjoyed it X was diff in some ways but I owned it back in the day and always liked it too Would love to see more of the x games ported too one day
