HUGE Woxel update has been submitted! -price will be increased soon

We submitted Woxel update version 1.2! The price will increase to 2.99 when the update goes live in the App Store, so get it now while it's still 99 cents! We estimate that the update will be live on about Friday August 28.

Here are the details:

1. Online Scoreboards and Achievements.
Woxel now has competitive online scoreboards and achievements using Open Feint servers. The scoreboards, if you choose to use them, will track your ranking for
Total Score,
Round 1 Score,
Round 2 Score,
Bonus Round Score,
Combined best scores for all 3 rounds,
Lifetime Points Scored,
Lifetime Words Found, and
Best Word Score.

3. Pause button added.
When you click the pause button, it brings you to the instructions screen. From there you can resume the game, go to main menu, or go to the options menu.

4. Clear button added.
When you click the clear button, it will deselect all letters you have selected. Also you can just tap anywhere with 2 fingers to deselect all letters.

5. When you slide to select letters, it will no longer autosubmit words that are invalid.
Autosubmit can now be turned off in the options menu.

6. Three seconds preview.
At the start of each round, you get a 3 second countdown to preview the letters on the board. If you would rather just start the round immediately instead of waiting 3 seconds every time, you can disable the 3 second countdown in the Options menu.

7. Improved letter clicking.
There are no longer any gaps between the letters. So when you tap you finger, you will always select a letter.

8. Round Complete screen now has a “back to main menu” button.

9. Longer words are now worth even more points.

10. At the end of each round, if your average word length was at least 4 letters long, you will get an extra 30 seconds to find one more big word.

11. The Round Complete screen now displays your average word length for the round.

12. Vowels appear more consistently and more often.

13. You can submit words by re-tapping the last letter of the word if you don’t want to reach for the submit button.

14. Improved button clicking behavior to match standard iPhone behavior.

15. Offline stat tracking in the highscore menu:

16. 3x word score, 3x letter score, and +5 timer seconds special blocks will no appear in the game.
