Finally, a loophole to write off all the IAPs I've made over the past year by blaming my kids! [...or at least get $5 out of the deal, yeah!]

If developers are starting to look at freemium in-app purchases as their meal ticket, I wonder what result further legal scrutiny like this will have on their perception of the system. It's likely this is just ironing out the wrinkles to solidify IAP as a dominant purchase model but for once it's be nice to hear developers, instead of players, avoiding the freemium model.

+1
If developers made a premium game and had DLC in IAP's. Like add on to the story. I see that being successful. But nickel and diming everyone on freemium games is rediculously stupid.

Ok my brother bought an android tablet. He plays CSR Racing and he actually spent 15-20 dollars on the iAP's. Just to get a faster car. I told him that iOS and android company's are glad to have iAP because of dumb people like you buying the iAP's.

Not saying all iAP's are dumb. But just the fact that you have to spend like $20 to get a little less than $1million dollars. That's just playing stupid right there, on a fake game. I know they have to make money somehow, why not lower prices and people wouldn't complain as much.

Am I right or do you disagree?
